I’m Jennifer Grisham (you can call me Jen). I’m so thankful that you stopped by this corner of the internets, and I’d love to get to know you.
A little bit about me: I love writing, reading, listening to hipster music, drinking tea, gentle sarcasm, spending time with friends and sending them ridiculous memes, and catching up on my favorite sitcoms. I serve as director of administration at Providence Church in Frisco, TX, and administrator at Doxology & Theology. I graduated from Baylor University back when all we did was lose, and I’m currently taking classes at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. (All opinions posted are my own, and do not represent anyone who isn’t me.)
I enjoy writing, but what I’m really passionate about is the love of Jesus. I want to use the humble means God has given me to testify to how great his love is–and what he’s given me is a pen and a bunch of ideas. So if you visit this site occasionally, I hope you’ll see the love of God and his Word in all I write about waiting, church, friendship, singleness, and life in general.
I came to know the Lord at a young age, and through the years, I’ve seen his work in my life as I’ve wrestled with fear, depression, pride, and my general proclivity to live on my own terms. As I grow older, I pray that I continually grow in understanding what it is to know and follow and love and trust him.
I’d love to hear your story. Use the Contact page on my site to reach out!
